Learn nothing but pressure from the Seminar

This morning, I attent a sinimar in HPL. The title is "Getting to the Hearts and Souls of the NextGeneration", which was given by the vice-president of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. From the title, I guess that the siminar will be full of beatiful photos and with the help of these vivid description I can easily get the genetal idea of the talk. However, the fact is absolutely differernt from my original idea. All the siminar was filled with words but photos. Woresmore, the lectuer speaked too quickly and lightly. Even I tried to focus on his every word, but I found it was really hard for me to catch the general idea. It must be my worst experience during all the past seminars. I asked myself why? Only one reason: my English is suck, I need more improvement. All the past experiences, I mean attending seminars with lot of photos, makes me overestimate my English. It is not bad I can relize that before going to the university. What I should do in the following days is to practice more and more. I hope the day I can say a native English can come ASAP.
